The Big Picture

Government Structure

Nomashae's government has three separate branches — each with its own role, balanced against the others so no single person or body holds unchecked power.

The Republic
Republic of Nomashae
A constitutional republic founded on the principle that all power resides in its citizens. The Constitution is the supreme law.
Executive
President & Prime Minister
Enforces laws, represents the nation, and appoints ministers. Shared between two officeholders.
Legislative
Parliament of Nomashae
Creates laws, approves national policy, and oversees the ministries. All citizens may participate.
Judicial
Council of Justice
Interprets laws, resolves disputes, and ensures every action taken by the government is constitutional.
Branch One

The Executive

Nomashae's executive power is deliberately split between two roles — the President and the Prime Minister — so that no single person controls the whole government.

KD
President of Nomashae
Krste Dimov
AppaRider · Minister of Defence & Justice
  • Serves as head of state and symbolic representative of the Republic.
  • Ratifies laws passed by Parliament before they come into effect.
  • Has the power to veto legislation — subject to parliamentary override.
  • Leads diplomatic efforts with outside nations and parties.
  • Oversees the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Justice.
EN
Prime Minister of Nomashae
Eftimij Novakovski
Yipified · Minister of Technology & Internal Affairs
  • Serves as head of government — runs the day-to-day operations of the Republic.
  • Chairs cabinet meetings and coordinates the ministries.
  • Proposes legislation to Parliament and sets the national policy agenda.
  • Appoints and oversees additional ministers as needed.
  • Has final authority on military action, requiring explicit sign-off before deployment.

Joint Responsibilities

The President and Prime Minister govern together. Major decisions — constitutional amendments, declarations of emergency, or changes to the governmental structure — require both officeholders to agree. Neither can override the other on matters of national significance.

Branch Two

Parliament of Nomashae

The legislative body of the Republic — where laws are debated, written, and voted into existence.

Parliament is the lawmaking body of Nomashae. Every citizen of the Republic is a member of Parliament by default — Nomashae is small enough that direct participation is not only possible but expected. Parliament meets when new legislation is needed, when national policy must be decided, or when a citizen calls for a vote on an issue.

Who Is In Parliament?
All citizens of Nomashae are members of Parliament. Every registered citizen has an equal vote on legislation, regardless of their role or rank within the Republic.
What Does Parliament Do?
Parliament creates and amends laws, approves national policies, reviews and challenges the actions of the executive, and holds ministries accountable for their work.
When Does It Meet?
Parliament convenes whenever legislation is proposed, a national decision must be made, or a citizen or official calls for a vote. There is no fixed session calendar — Nomashae acts when action is needed.
How Are Decisions Made?
Standard legislation passes by simple majority vote. Constitutional amendments require a higher threshold of approval. All votes are recorded and publicly documented.
Oversight Powers
Parliament can call ministers to account, challenge executive decisions, and — in extreme cases — call for a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister or President.
Proposing Legislation
Any citizen, minister, or the executive may propose a new law. Once proposed, it enters the legislative process — reviewed, debated, and put to a vote.
The Process

How a Law Is Passed

From idea to official law — every step Nomashae legislation goes through.

1
Proposal
Any citizen, minister, or executive officeholder may propose a new law or amendment. The proposal is written up formally and submitted to Parliament for consideration.
Anyone Can Propose
2
Review & Debate
Parliament reviews the proposal. Citizens and officials may raise concerns, suggest changes, or argue in favour. The goal is to make the best possible version of the law before it goes to a vote.

3
Parliamentary Vote
All citizens of Nomashae vote on the proposal. A simple majority passes most legislation. Constitutional amendments require a supermajority — a higher bar to protect the Republic's founding principles.

4
Presidential Ratification
If Parliament passes the law, it goes to the President for ratification. The President reviews whether the law aligns with the Constitution and the national interest. They may sign it into law or return it with a veto.
Presidential Sign-off
5
Veto Override (if needed)
If the President vetoes the law, Parliament may override it with a supermajority vote. This ensures the President cannot unilaterally block the will of the citizens indefinitely.

6
Enacted into Law
Once ratified, the law is officially enacted, documented in the national legal record, and made publicly accessible to all citizens. It is now the law of Nomashae.

Elections & Leadership

How Nomashae chooses its leaders and keeps them accountable.

Who Can Run?
Any registered citizen of Nomashae may run for the role of President or Prime Minister. There are no property, wealth, or rank requirements — only citizenship.
How Are Leaders Elected?
Leaders are elected by a direct vote of all citizens. Each citizen casts one vote. The candidate with the most votes wins. Elections are called when a term ends, a leader steps down, or a vote of no confidence succeeds.
Term Lengths
Both the President and the Prime Minister serve terms of defined length as set by Parliament. Term limits may be introduced by constitutional amendment. No one may hold power indefinitely.
Vote of No Confidence
If a majority of Parliament believes a leader is failing in their duties, they may call a vote of no confidence. A successful vote triggers an immediate election for that role.
Founding Leadership
The current President (Krste Dimov) and Prime Minister (Eftimij Novakovski) are the founding leaders of the Republic, appointed at the moment of Nomashae's formation on 1 September 2025.
Transparency
All election results, vote counts, and leadership decisions are publicly recorded in Nomashae's national documentation. Every citizen has the right to see how their government operates.

Elections Info

Due to underpopulation in The Republic of Nomashae, elections are closed except in resignation of any of the governing bodies.
